Day 1
Zagreb

Arrival with transfer from airport to hotel dinner and overnight

Day 2
Zagreb

Breakfast. City tour in Zagreb Walk through the former medieval towns – Kaptol & Gradec and discover how they merged to one city – Zagreb, in year 1850. Try some treats at Dolac Market (Farmer’s Market). Get a surprise drink Croatian style. Learn about Croatia’s turbulent history under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Communist Yugoslavia and more with free afternoon dinner and overnight

Day 3
Zagreb – Veliki Tabor – Kumrovec – Zagreb

Breakfast followed by an interesting tour that will show the tourists something about Croatia history. They will visit Veliki Tabor castle going back in time to middle ages, in a time where nobility lived a luxury life compared to the peasants lives. They´ll be able to admire this beautiful castle and find out about the tale of Veronika of Desinic. Lunch in a local restaurant to enjoy specialties from the area and try the Croatian grapa. After lunch the tour moves to Etnoselo Kumrovec. The open air museum claim to fame is that it is the birthplace of marshal Josip Broz Tito, the president of former Yugoslavia. Today the major attraction of Kumrovec is the Ethnological Museum Staro Selo (Old Village) Kumrovec with very well preserved village houses from the turn of 19th/20th century. The reconstruction and redecoration of these houses started in 1977. So far 40-odd houses and other farm-stead facilities have been restored, which makes Staro Selo the most attractive place of this kind in Croatia. Visitors may see permanent ethnological exhibitions such as the Zagorje-style Wedding, the Life of Newly-weds, From Hemp to Linen, Blacksmith’s Crafts, Cart-wright’s Craft, Pottery, From Grain to Bread, etc. The tourists may dress up as “pionir” uniform and make a photo.

Day 4
Zagreb – Opatija

Breakfast and departure to Opatija, the pearl of the Adriatic. Located in the Kvarner Bay, at the foot of the Mount Ucka and some 15 km from Rijeka, Croatia’s third largest city.The town is a remarkable seaside resort town with a long history of tourism stretching back to 1844. Afternoon city tour in Opatija. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Opatija-Pula-Rovinj- Sv. Petar u Sumi- Opatija

After breakfast the group will have a sightseeing of Pula including the Arena, Arch of Sergius, temple of August and gate of Hercules. Then a tour to Rovinj´s center and the Cathedral. After that we will visit a local family hotel farm where the tourists will have a lunch typical form the area and will learn some of the folklore. Return to hotel and overnight in Opatija

Day 6
Opatija – Hum – Motovun – Vrh – Opatija

Breakfast followed by a tour to Hum, the smallest town in the world. Then we will visit Motovun, a picturesque medieval fortified town on the hilltop. Now the tourists will have a one of a time experience in Vrh: Visit to a truffle hunter’s house that has 40-years experience in the truffle business where you will see specially trained dogs. After an aperitif, we will go to the forest to experience the adventure of the truffle hunt. After the activity of searching the truffles for about 45 minutes, you will learn how to prepare a meal with truffles. Our friendly hosts will serve you l cheese and truffle flavored honey, pate and other truffle delicacies which you can also buy at the estate. Day 7
Opatija – Krk – Kosljun – Opatija

After breakfast a whole day excursion to the island Krk. Guided sightseeing of the town Krk, then we drive to Vrbnik. And in a typical village of Krk the tourists will have the opportunity to participate in a culinary course: learn how to make Surlice, special local pasta that they will have for lunch with goulash. Dinner and overnight in Opatija

Day 8
Opatija – Pag

Breakfast and departure to Pag Island check in and free time to enjoy Pag. dinner and overnight

Day 9
Pag

Today after breakfast we will have a sightseeing of Pag and then we will do a Pag Cheese tasting at Gligora Dairy in Kolan, on the the island of Pag.The tour of Gligora dairy takes you to all the facilities and introduces you tradition and the future of making of this award winning cheese. After the tour we go for the tasting, of course! afternoon free dinner and overnight in Pag

Day 10
Pag – Plitvice

Lakes After breakfast we will move to Croatia´s largest national Park , Plitvice lakes. lunch in Plitvice After lunch we departure to Zagreb, Croatia´s capital, where we will have dinner and overnight.

Day 11
Zagreb

Paris is not the only city that has a Cemetery worth to be visited. The Mirogoj Cemetery is a cemetery park that is located on the mountain Medvednica and is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Europe. If you are interested in history, architecture or nice scenery, Mirogoj is a good place to go. Because of its design, numbers among the more noteworthy landmarks in the City of Zagreb.The cemetery inters members of all religious groups: Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim, Jewish, Protestant, Latter day Saints and irreligious graves can all be found. In the arcades are the last resting places of many famous Croatians. After the tour you have free afternoon to explore the city by yourself. dinner and overnight in Zagreb
