Visit island Lošinj – subtropical, evergreen paradise with more than 300 sunny days yearly!
Arrival and accomodation in the hotel, welcome cocktail and dinner.
After breakfast, guided tour of Mali Lošinj. Afterwards a bus drive to Veli Lošinj and sightseeing. Afternoon free. Dinner in the hotel.
After breakfast a full day excursion to island Cres. First we go to Osor, where the islands Cres and Lošinj are connected by a lift bridge, than to Valun, a picturesque fisherman’s village. Afterwards a drive to Cres, guided tour of the town and we continue the drive to village Lozati, where a snack composed of local food. Dinner in the hotel.
Halfday excursion by boat to island Susak or Ilovik. Susak presents a natural and cultural phenomena, and even though it is only 6 nautical miles from island Lošinj, it looks as if it belongs to another world. It is composed of sand and it is covered almost only by reed and vines. Culturaly, the island has an isolated position, which is noticible in the national costumes, dialect and the aperence of the inhabitance. Ilovik rightfully bares the name „Flower island“, with its bright-coloured flowers it resembles a big, subtropical garden. Dinner in the hotel.
Full day tour of Krk: Sightseeing of town Krk, the capital of the island, then drive to Punat. Boat trip to the Franciscan monastery on the island of Košljun, located in the deep bay of Punat. Expert guided tour of the monastery and the Franciscan Museum. From here we go to Vrbnik, a town located high on a steep rock surrounded by Žlahtina vine grows. We continue to Dobrinj, where we taste homemade „šurlice“ (homemade noudels with goulash).
