ZAGREB – PLITVICE – SPLIT
After breakfast, the group will continue to Plitvice. Upon arrival sightseeing of National Park Plitvice that is inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. While on Plitvice lakes the group will have a possibility to see 16 beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green color that lie in a valley between high forested mountains and cascade into 92 spectacular waterfalls. You will enjoy the exceptional beauty of the lakes and waterfalls, rich plant and animal life, contrasting colors, forests and the pure mountain air. An inescapable part will be a walk on the wooden promenades to view majestic waters where every turn leads to breathtaking scenery and yet another waterfall. SPLIT – DUBROVNIK
After breakfast a sightseeing tour of Split and its historical centre. In III s A.C: Roman emperor Diocletian decided to spend his last days in the sunny harbor of Asphalatos where he built the palace whose walls still make the part of the City of Split. Guided city tour will include the visit of Diocletian’s palace. His mausoleum converted nowadays into the cathedral, Baptistery, statue of Gregory of Nin. Continuation to Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight.
After the breakfast sightseeing of the Old Town with sights of most important architectural monuments. Entrance to Franciscan monastery with the Old pharmacy – one of the oldest functioning pharmacies in Europe. The experience will be enriched with the sightseeing of other numerous historical monuments important for Dubrovnik and its history: St. Blazes, Rectors’ Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando Statue, Onofrio’s fountain and Cathedral with the treasury.
DUBROVNIK – TROGIR
After the breakfast continuation to Dalmatian hinterland where the stone houses, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, still preserve the traditional way of life. The famous smoked ham from Drnis was served on the British Court. Continuation to Trogir. Ever since antique times only the best artists left their finest pieces in Tragurion. Visit of the town whose ancient core is under the protection of UNESCO. Walk along the stone paved streets to the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, whose portal is considered to be the masterpiece of gothic art of Dalmatia. Dinner and overnight.
TROGIR – ZADAR
Departure to Zadar. Upon arrival the professional guide will accompany the group for the city sightseeing go of historical centre of Zadar. Most of the town is surrounded by city walls, towers and two city gates… This visit will include sightseeing of the Mainland Gate (Kopnena vrata) to the east of The Old Town, Five-Sided Tower and five wells which used to be the water supply for the city, the Port Gate (Lucka vrata) to the north, visiting the well-known museum “Silver and Gold of Zadar”. Free time for individual visits. Dinner and overnight in Zadar or Zadar area.
ZADAR – ZAGREB
Zagreb, the capital of Croatia is situated in the fertile valley of the river Sava. With your professional guide discover the Upper town, Kaptol – the oldest quarter of Zagreb with its sacral constructions and Dolac market the most animated square during the morning. Take the opportunity of the free afternoon to stroll around the streets still lit by the gas lamps,take pictures of the flower sellers at Jelacic square or make a wish at Stone Gate or Saint Mark’s church with its multicolored roof.
